On Sunday, July 20, 2025, we are honored to have Rev. Emily Kelly preach a message to Morrow First UMC.

Rev. Emily Kelly currently serves as the Director of Chaplaincy Services for the Department of Juvenile Justice, where she provides spiritual care, emotional support, and pastoral guidance to youth and staff within the system. She is a graduate of Candler School of Theology at Emory University, where she earned her Master of Divinity, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Georgia, Athens (Class of 2015).

Rev. Kelly completed her Clinical Pastoral Education at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, gaining hands-on experience in chaplaincy within a diverse and fast-paced healthcare environment. Prior to her chaplaincy work, she served as the Youth Director at Midway United Methodist Church, where she ministered to middle and high school students, helping them grow in faith and community.

Rev. Kelly brings to her ministry a deep commitment to justice, compassion, and holistic care. Her passion lies in walking alongside young people during critical moments of their lives, offering hope, healing, and a nonjudgmental presence rooted in her Christian faith.
