On Thursday, December 4, 2025, our Food Pantry served 34 families (124 people), including 36 children.
On Thursdays, from November 13 until December 11, the Food Pantry is offering a Christmas Closet to pantry recipients. They can select a limited number of items (for free) to help their family celebrate Christmas. This is how we are distributing the donations from the Coat Drive. Other items in the Closet were donated by members and the Midwest Food Bank.
We thank the volunteers from Ash Street Baptist Church and Morrow First UMC for offering their time to serve in the Christmas Closet.
As of September 26, our Food Pantry has served 542 families (1,805 people) including 643 children in 2025.
In 2024, our Food Pantry served 552 families (1,705 people) including 622 children.
Currently, we have a need for volunteers to shop for the Food Panty once a month. If you can meet this need, please contact Judy Jaeger.
