Finance Leader Training

The Conference-wide Faithful Finances training event set for Saturday, January 24, 2026, will now be offered only via Zoom.
Due to potential inclement weather this weekend and the distrance some participants and presenters were to travel, the training will now be offered as a Zoom event.
Gather online at 1 pm and then choose one workshop to attend live. Each one hour workshop will be recorded and available to watch afterward.

RegisterDisaster Response and Preparedness Training
Saturday, February 7
Laity and clergy are invited and encouraged to attend “Disaster Academy” for local churches on February 7 from 10 am to 2 pm at Watkinsville First UMC.
Sessions will include creating a Church Disaster Response Plan, best practices, partnering, funding, and more. Learn about the Solar Trailer and other tools. Trainers from across Georgia are leading sessions.
This weekend’s winter storm watch is a reminder of the importance of preparation so that United Methodists can stand ready to serve and partner with our communities and our neighbors when we’re needed.
