For our Summer Service Project, we will be collecting “new, almost-new, or gently-used suitcases,” back packs, or duffel bags for foster children served by Bloom Our Youth in Fayette County. Many foster children leave home or transfer with their possessions in a black trash bag.
My hope is to provide a sense of ownership and dignity to these children by providing duffel bags or suitcases they can own.
Collections end on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Please drop off the suitcases in the Marvin Foster Classroom.
