Greetings Laity and Clergy of the newly formed South Central District:

I greet you in the wonderful and matchless name of Jesus!

I am so excited to begin a New Conference Year and a New District. We have 98 churches in our District and 104 clergy and 36,654 laity.

Please know that our District Team will be praying for you each week as you preach, teach and minister to your congregations and communities and continue to make disciples for the transformation of the World!
Also, stay tuned and look forward to getting our newsletters each month as we keep you informed about all of the latest and exciting news happening in our District and Conference!

Finally, I will be visiting many of your churches and worship services in this upcoming year and I am always excited about hearing some good preaching and music to the Glory of God!

In Closing, Always Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing and His Name is Jesus Christ! Matthew 6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added you.

With Much Love and Grace, Your New District Superintendent
Rev. Dr. Michael T. McQueen
P.S. Oh by the way, “Don’t Forget to Have some Fun!”

Meet Rev. Dr. Heather Jallad, Regional Developer

Rev. Dr. Heather Jallad, Regional Developer

Rev. Dr. Heather Jallad has served small, medium, and large churches across the North Georgia Conference as both a Lead Pastor and an Associate Pastor. She pioneered the Fresh Expressions movement in NGA, planted several dinner church communities, and now serves as our Regional Developer for the South Central District. She holds a BA in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida, an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a DMin. in Church Renewal and Fresh Expressions from United Theological Seminary. She and her husband Marten have been married for 30 years and have two daughters.

As a Regional Developer, Heather’s role is to resource, equip, and walk with local churches to further the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Some of these things will include assisting with casting vision and values, developing best practices, forming cohorts for skill development with peers, developing and strengthening cultural competencies in collaboration with ethnic specific committees, and continuing the focus on North Georgia’s Five Areas of Focus.
