Basic is the prerequisite for all Advanced classes

Leading Worship
Tuesdays and Thursdays: August 1, 3, 8, 10 (Zoom), 6:30-8:30 pm
Thursday: August 15 (in person for worship service), 6:30-8:30 pm

Note: Attendance of in-person worship service is required to receive credit for completing the course

Online Classes
Classes are app. 5 weeks long All assignments, quizzes, and chats must be completed to receive credit for the course.
Basic is a pre-requisite for these courses. Cost $42.00; does not include book. Must be paid for with credit or debit card.
Once the link for the course is opened, we can not issue a refund. We use Google Classroom for for the classes and it can be accessed by tablet or pc. You will need speakers for any videos used in the class.

Opening Ourselves to Grace:
June 26 – July 31: Deadline to register is June 26
This course helps lay servant leaders embrace and communicate a Wesleyan understanding of basic Christian practices(works of piety and mercy) as means of grace.
Book for the Class: “Opening Ourselves to Grace: The Means of Grace and Discipleship by Steven W. Manskar” published by Marc Brown, Kathy Merry, and John Briggs.
Spiritual Gifts:
July 10- August 14: Deadline to register is July 10
This course is designed to help participants identify their spiritual gifts and examine spiritually how they can use their gifts to serve others.
Book for the Class: “For the Common Good: Discovering and Using Your Spiritual Gifts ” published by Christine Harman.
Pastoral Care:
September 11- October 16: Deadline to register is September 11
This course offers insights into the life span and the dynamics of contemporary.
Book for the Class: “Lay Pastoral Care” published by Tim Farabaugh.
Soul Reset:
October 19- November 13: Deadline to register is October 19
This is a study for everyone who moves at breakneck speed through their daily lives, often relying only on their own strength to bring God’s kingdom on earth.
Book for the Class: “Soul Reset: Breakdown, Breakthrough, and the Journey to wholeness” published by Junius B. Dotson.
